I've only seen 32% of the 2022 Sight & Sound list, which is shameful. So my New Year's resolution is to get that number to at least 50% by year's end, which means watching 46 movies. Starting with:

The villain in Dead of Winter is someone who resorts to some pretty heinous crimes because they can't afford a medical procedure that would save their life.
Pretty ironic that they shot this in Finland, where the whole premise would've been basically a non-issue.

Eppu Normaali is one of Finland's oldest and biggest rock bands, and Screaming Thunders is a side project formed by half of its members. They exclusively play CCR and John Fogerty covers, and they rock! Saw them live for the second time tonight, and it was excellent.
