I've only seen 32% of the 2022 Sight & Sound list, which is shameful. So my New Year's resolution is to get that number to at least 50% by year's end, which means watching 46 movies. Starting with:

#NowWatching John Ford's The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962).
#NowRewatching Dwight H. Little's Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) with Patrick's #ScaryMovieMonth commentary.
#NowWatching Curt Siodmak's Bride of the Gorilla (1951) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
#NowRewatching Mickey, Donald and Goofy in Burt Gillett's Lonesone Ghosts (1937) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
Revenge is fun and I appreciate Walks for how weird it gets and it has some interesting stuff going on, but the first one is my favorite.
#NowWatching Depeche Mode's new Mexico City concert film M on the big screen.
I had my watch list for the last two days of #ScaryMovieMonth all planned out, but this changes everything.
Which director who has never made a horror movie would you most like to see make one?

I think a Nancy Myers horror movie could be interesting.
#NowWatching John Sherwood's The Creature Walks Among Us (1956) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
#NowWatching Jack Arnold's Revenge of the Creature (1955) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
#NowRewatching Jack Arnold's Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
#NowWatching Jacques Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). In a theater. Yay! #SightandSound
The White Reindeer (1952) is a good one from Finland. And I just noticed it's included in Vol. 2 of the Severin folk horror boxsets.
#NowWatching Terence Fisher's The Brides of Dracula (1960) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
The shooting gallery, both as a fun level to play and for the references to the first game.
#NowWatching Genki Kawamura's Exit 8 (2025) for #ScaryMovieMonth. Curious to see how they adapt a game that has no story.
#NowRewatching Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) for #ScaryMovieMonth.
