This feels very much to me reminiscent of the response of Brenzhnevite Politburo members to the rise of Gorbachev, Yakovlev, et al. in the dying days of the Soviet Union.

I was a reluctant fan of Morgan Wallen's One Thing At A Time, but I did respect it for the honesty with which Wallen seemed to plea for sobriety even knowing how hard a struggle it would be. On I'm The Problem, across it's two hours, I hear little of progress or hope, but a lot of backsliding.

I believe fundamentally if we want a kind Society we need to implement kindness as an intentional political project as well as as individuals. Showing cruelty teaches people to be cruel, if we want to teach people kindness we must show them kindness. Cruelty begets cruelty & Kindness begets Kindness

I think something we should bang on about more is that the thuggery we see in the mass deportations is not border enforcement done "wrong". Cruelty is inherent to how that process of cleansing is carried out. We do not live in a Shakespeare play, there is no kind way to be cruel, that's a Fantasy.
