Crap food is definitely something I keep hearing. I admit, I'll eat anything but I'm glad to defer the food experience. I got sent through for blood and an ECG right away so didn't get to experience the waiting room with very reasonably priced vending machine coffee til much later.

I’ve been working at the intersection of IT, operations, DevOps, and agile software development, effectively learning this framework by doing, especially in problem and incident management, as well as change and release management. Curious what I've been getting wrong, or not understanding right.

ITIL 4 is the standard playbook for running IT services reliably and in line with what the business and customers actually need. It doesn’t tell you how to run your whole business, but it gives you a common way of working and a shared language for talking about IT.

What’s ITIL? I didn’t know about it when I started my current role. The basics take minutes to learn; actually practicing them is something you build over time.

They're saying it's a matter of time, Disney for sure has the resources, and the demand is surely there. I don't know how good the rumours are but it sounds fair.

It’s a silly paranormal thriller, lots of blood and made to shock. I haven’t seen the original It, but Welcome to Derry builds on the universe from the remakes. Since watching the film, I’ve been looking for something with the same mix of tension, nostalgia and humour, but nothing has come close.

In Germany Sky/Wow. It's an HBO show.

Maybe there are comparisons to be made between Strangers Things, or even Dark already, but I like those shows and it seems obvious in a Stephen King world to get those comparisons.

So I was obviously curious about the TV prequel and the later news that Baran Bo Odar of Dark fame is involved in it in some capacity, after two episodes of Welcome to Derry, I'm onboard and enjoying the vibe of the 1950s period they're building on.

I don't think there's many films I've seen this many times.

Me too, but it's probably the reason why we have so many days per year. If it was more uniform they might drop one or two. Harder to explain is the not quite public holidays of Christmas and New Year! My company has them off, and many do half days, but they're not officially on the Feiertag list!

It's a long way for us to Hessen!

That's a shock! Here it's up and down like a yo yo with 20 coming back this weekend, but we've had our first days around 6 or 7 degrees already.

Yes I'm in my 30s and I've just unpacked my Digimon. It's not a bad low tech fidget toy. No mobile ads or premium purchases. Physical buttons and a menu system with the charm of a Casio watch. Random and time based actions. And a pause button.

Haven't tried this one, good colour! Prost!

This is rather Germany. It's unfortunate with all the decorative pools we have but makes so much sense. They're particularly quick to catch people who bring phones into the Sauna areas, where the personal modesty stakes are somewhat higher!

Lots of possible choices for this one.
