Zohran cruised to victory in NYC running against historically unpopular opposition. It was a one off.

This is not a template to follow everywhere.

I'm assuming that is spray paint on plastic. I would check out Mar-a-Lago and Saudi Arabia and Moscow

Yes!!! Exactly! Bernie who, even though he isn't even a Democrat, became the face of the party to so many moderates who didn't want to vote for an angry socialist. Bernie who has launched the careers of so many toxic candidates like Tulsi Gabbard and Nina Turner, who helped elect Donald Trump

He can't keep his promises. His popularity is going to wane when people realize that.

Mamdani will prove to be as forgettable as Bill DeBlasio.

No one is sidelining AOC or Sanders. They are getting exactly the level of attention that they have earned. AOC potentially has a future in the party, if she can overcome the negatives she racked up early on. Bernie is just a sore loser who has never actually accomplished anything.

I wish him well, too, my family lives in NYC. And I think he is, essentially , a good person. Which I would not have said about anyone else on the ballot.

But he is not the future of the Democratic Party and his ejection is not a template for the rest of the country.

I doubt the current IRS cares. I'm certain that my state's attorney general does not. I'm certain he would campaign at a church.

Yes, and AOC consistently underperforms in her district and has yet to pass a single bill.

Success in NYC in no way indicates national success especially in Mamdani's case where his competition was odious.

Y'all are making a mistake extrapolating this election into some national movement. I would have voted for him yesterday in NYC because the other options were terrible. But I think he will be a failure as a mayor and I would never vote for him given a better choice than Cuomo.

He was running against a sexual predator and a crazy man. I don't think this is the bellwether event y'all want it to be
November 5, 2025 at 6:59 PM
I would not take that lesson. I would have voted for him yesterday because his opponents were a sexual predator and a crazy person. But if I had had any better choice, I would have taken it.

Love them both but I think the visceral hatred that historians correctly have for Trump has inflated Obama and Biden"s rankings.
