Last year, trying to cope with death of spouse, couldn’t have told you his pension still being paid in. Shouldn’t the solicitor have dealt with this?

Job for today - practice driving game on Steam - an artic with a trailer through busy streets. Playing with a grandson, there are many shouts of “Don’t hit the wall, Grannie!” 😀

Conservatory almost clear. Taken time out for lunch at local IM2C cafe, where they serve a lovely coffee.

Today I sorted through a pile of paper. Shredder almost glowing.
Wish could recycle the shredding but apparently it gums up the recycling plant. To instead, put in with general rubbish.

Automated NHS phone call from local hospital re Appt time etc. Call comes through in the middle of message from a scam caller allegedly in the UK.
I let it ring out but somehow it cuts the call from NHS. That’s twice that’s happened now. Next scam caller is going to get an earful. 🤬

On the bright side, clearing of kitchen cupboards goes on. Gradually working what I need in them as distinct from what’s been stored for many years unused.

This first year grief thing can have you wide awake and getting on with things then for a week at a time, you sleep constantly and forget to eat. Big hugs to anyone out there that’s lost a husband or partner. ❤️

Time to look through and chuck more stuff into charity box or just plain bin it box.
I’d put all kitchen tools, bowls, jugs etc to one side. See what I actually use. Notalot it transpires. That’s another big load leaving the house. #DontBeCurarorOfExcessStuff
