In interviews with more than a dozen parents of trans kids, all but two said the process was not rushed. Assessments were comprehensive and professional.

Also note that even the parents who think assessments *were* rushed indicate that their kids didn't end up transitioning.

The difference between youth transition and previous moral panics is that all the evidence indicates the *opposite* is the actual problem: Trans kids face far too much gatekeeping.

Based on the medical and social evidence we should be making transition easier. Instead we're banning it by law.
