Another fantastic year at Clayshire Castle. We had lots of fun vending our wares and performing for patrons and look forward to doing it again next year - hopefully it will be a little cooler next time!

I made the plaster mold for the oil lamp over a year ago, but this is the first successful lamp. The bull is over the fill hole in the center. I poked holes through the nostril’s hopping they will bubble when its being filled. #Pottery#oillamp#reinactment

First attempt at a Teapot! Amaco's new PCF33 Mystic Tide is super nice on this one. 3 coats on the pot, 2 coats on the lid with a knob in Iron Lustre. Inside is river rock. Amaco #11 white stoneware fired to cone 5 w/ 5min hold.
