<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Families of Palestinian detainees and those killed by Israeli forces staged a protest in Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank, against a decree by Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas cancelling welfare payments for the families. </p>
<p>Abbas issued the decree to cancel the “Martyrs’ Fund” in February, following immense pressure from the United States and Israel.</p>

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Ahmed. Ahmed is just 17 years old he told me he was really good at math but he hasn’t been able to study since the war began because the schools in tents are too far away. His family owned a grocery store but it and their home was destroyed.
