- pretending a publicly funded safety net for all exists, when govt continues to under support and staff it, and all those private pay pathways can simply dump into the public system when the going gets tough

the answer is NOT:
- more Two-Tier medicine
- open up the wild wild west and let the rich get even more access while the poor die in ever growing public queues

- pay for counselling or mental health therapy, but will pay for long hospital psychiatric admissions...
- dental? fahgetaboutit
- reasonably support home care and LTC - get ready for 8000/month out of pocket costs
- and so on, and so on...

Uncertainty and opacity are unavoidable features of generative AI. These are problems that you can’t engineer away.
No wonder insurers are taking a pass.
