This doesn't just go for the pro Israeli people btw. Some of y'all have some very fanciful or fucked up ideas of what that this peace process looks like from the anti-Israel side.

Look to the lessons of the end of Apartheid in South Africa and the Good Friday Agreement for lessons to what needs to be done to have a lasting peace; put the Islamaphobia and Antisemitism in the trash; and dispense with children's book ass narratives.

This is a real political issue nearing a century of ethnic cleansing and apartheid. This is not cops and robbers. The solutions to this if there is any hope of peace and redemption are going to have to have some level of messiness and maturity. And separate but equal ethnostates aren't a solution.

And any idea of "we can just eliminate Hamas first" is just an excuse for Israel to keep bombing civilians unless you're including the IDF in organizations that have to be annihilated to achieve peace. And nobody who says that shit is suggesting war against the IDF.

Trying to ascribe objective evil is not helpful to any sort of reconciliation and reparation process. Ignoring the power imbalance is unhelpful. So is try to exclude armed resistance groups in that peace process. And if we are objective in throwing around the label of evil, it doesn't favor Israel.

My concern re:leftist antisemitism is not that they will kill me, but that if/when myself or my loved ones are killed for being Jewish, many leftist will argue that it wasn’t antisemitism, but principled opposition to Israel and thus justifiable.
(And myself and my loved ones are all antizionist)
