Very belated WIP Weds but I'm working on a dark web hacker Reki/Tortured Assassin Langa fic. It's dark, with a bunch of implied abuse, and kinda dark comedy. At least that's what I'm going for.

Sadly my blood Necro isn't a good enough build to get to endgame content so I've got this big boy to get there. Look at how massive his werewolf buddies are 😍 (he can transform into a werewolf too) The shred build is a lot of fun. Fast AF.

Its comforting to find stories, and there are *so* few of them.. of people existing that were doing their thing you know? Whether that be being gay as heck, or trans! THERES TRANS SAINTS CHAT. And subverting this idea we have about Religion Ruling All, its not all that true for the common folk.

It's been a very fun rabbit hole to fall into, I'll be honest. And looking at sex work historically is such a good example of the circle of censorship (cause in comes notoriously pious Henry VIII to ban things) Sex is so human and it's always "been a problem" that no ones figured out how to solve.

Did you know the Bishop of Winchester at one point owned like all the brothels in Southwark? The attitude towards sex work for a very long time was "we don't like it, but its necessary." Despite women being considered the *lustful* sex, if the men didn't have a way to release - god forbid. 😂

William Marshall's biography, commissioned by his family, includes "his first night at court" where he is shocked to find "whores" and this made me laugh, and go Hm. That sounds fun.. in comes Avis. I won't spoil his entire backstory but I did do a lot of learning about sex work in the middle ages
