level design was at its best in kingdom hearts 1. those worlds had something that the other games don’t

the areas in kh2 for example look very nice and are more spacious to accommodate the frenetic battle system, but they’re all the same

short but very good game. you’d have to be a monster to not like quill. surprised it ended where it did, but i already have the sequel ready.

the ending sequence with Sarffog was suitably exciting. i’m not afraid of snakes but the way it moves was still sorta intimidating in VR.

the attention to detail in quill’s animation is special. she leans with gravity when standing on a moving surface or tucks her ears down when there isn’t enough headroom. i also love how she tries to give hints through pantomime

Generally a fun remake of Mega Man X and the new Sigma stages caught me off guard in a good way, but some of the added dialogue(with bad voice acting) slows the experience down a bit.
