Weirdly, pepitas are crazy nutrient-dense and are pleasantly salty. We also make little balls of dates, nut butter, cocoa powder, and whey powder (whatever mix sticks together) and put them in the fridge to set, and they pack a lot of go in a small nibbly space. Stud with pepitas like hedgehogs.

With my mom, we've been trying to treat it like monks in Lent - jam-pack the density of the things she can manage. It's been an actual use case for things like powdered protein add-ins that you can put into anything you're already making (even waffles!) or ready-to-eats from people like Kodiak.
