Let's just stop AI for a bit until 'innovators' can figure out that "Might be inappropriate" isn't something any self-critical person should want to say, let alone post publicly on the web.

And if they're not self-critical, why the hell let them 'play' with something as big as "next electricity"

This video, better than stills, illustrates just how many people marched in Boston yesterday.

City hall plaza, filled from the JFK federal building, stretching across Cambridge St and all the way down Tremont St to Boylston.

Deeply strange entering middle-age at a time in world history where things are getting measurably worse. Just a continual psychic struggle of “is this fogeyism or are things just not what they used to be?”

Finding industry roles seems increasingly insecure, I'm leaning towards starting a dev cooperative a bit more each year... But business management, let alone funding is new, and most of all people to take the plunge with seems daunting.

At risk of posting into the void, any insights out there?

I am not going to get into specifics right now for various reasons but all I can say is launchgood.com/1948 deserves to hit its goal in the light of the shit this industry does to @rasheedabueideh.bsky.social

Hey you! Do you have a book recommendation on game design, or general dev? Particularly interested in small project/team sizes, or even solo projects!

I've read less and less books on dev, in favour of presentations, but I've been slowly switching back to it 📚

Couldn't unhear it if I wanted, kind of glad it's permanently pressed into my brain

Hey, I'm Mitchel, game designer with a deep admiration for effective story telling. I believe 'play' an amazing way to grapple with different perspectives & new concepts, games for good!

Personally into RPG, guitar, and obsessively deepdiving into fandoms or (mostly leaning to soft) sciences.
