The PhD project will involve studying the mechanisms underlying Alpers’ syndrome, a devastating early-onset form of mitochondrial disease and will be funded by The Noah Jordan Foundation 💚🦕

Dr Laura Smith had a great time presenting at the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) North East Meeting yesterday and was delighted to be awarded a prize for her talk on characterising neuroinflammatory pathology in POLG-related epilepsy.
