Man 2026 is gonna be a banger year for me, this year I didn't really like most of the *new* stuff I played but New Tomb Raider, New Resident Evil, New Fire Emblem all in the same year I'm eatin good. curious if I'll get something Megaten or Sonic as well

I beat Expedition 33 and I thought it was pretty good it probably takes my soundtrack of the year that was a highlight for me, also the fact it's one of the few RPGs I can recall where I just flat out agree with the main antagonist

Expedition 33 is one of those games that is as good as people say it is(maybe not exactly) but the fans are so insufferable lol glad I decided to be less petty and give this game a try

This might be the Game awards where I've seen the most shit I've cared about Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, new KOTOR, Thought we were gonna see a new Sonic but a potentially better Yakuza done by a not shit dev sounds cool lol

I know that Street Fighter & Mega Man are way more iconic on Nintendo platforms but it's kinda fascinating Resident Evil isn't represented at all in Smash with all the Nintendo exclusives(some limited) RE has gotten. RE Gaiden, RE4(limited), Umbrella Chronicles duology.

ape escape is an inherently hilarious game concept because when you get right down to it it's just super mario 64 but the power stars can shoot you with a gun

Fromsoft players are like... damaged. Speaking as someone who loves the games, the community is insufferable in their attitude that the game has a "right" way to be played. (Probably born from the "Its so hard!" circle jerk early coverage/marketing of DS1 spawned)

Sega has revealed upgrade options for Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, Kiwami 1, and Kiwami 2 for existing owners on PS4/Xbox One and also for those who own Yakuza 0 on Steam.
