Like there must be a producer out there putting up money for these films that really likes him because he isn't good actor, people don't like working with him and his movies don't make good box office numbers.

If a blockbuster movie makes it to theaters and he is the lead star and the biggest face on the poster, something has gone horribly wrong.

But like, no matter how shitty of a person he is (Especially running his weird, abusive cult in his off-time...) like... someone also had to write these movies, direct them, edit them, cast him of all people.

There's a lot of moving parts in making a movie this bad, he is just the cherry on top.

From what I have heard, his method acting is actually very disruptive on set. Like making everyone wait on his 45 minute bathroom breaks because he has to use crutches/a wheelchair while shooting Morbius.

So its a absolute mystery why he gets cast.

Churchill was by all accounts, was really, really good at delivering speeches and mediocre at leading.

Britain was doing so badly because he stretched them way too thin.

Thats why the US pushed to make the Combined Chiefs, so Churchill couldn't make big tactical decisions.

Is Germany.

They bit off way more than they could chew and every German except Hitler knew it, thats why military leaders kept trying to assassinate him despite agreeing with or being indifferent to Nazi ideology.

But the same can be said of the US. Germany and Japan combined weren't winning that fight even if the US was alone.

By all experts accounts, Germany didn't even stand a chance of invading Britain successfully, it would have been a stalemate leading to a white peace at best.

I mean, people like to overinflate it down to "The western allies weren't needed" because yeah, Germany was NEVER going to win against the soviets even without a western front, once the soviets got their supply lines and logistics sorted out.

iirc Brits loosely tried to justify bombing civilians under the guise of "It'll make the jerries want to surrender because of all the lives lost!" which is not how fascists think, Hitler did not care about civilians and they almost certainly knew that by then.

Also while absolutely a manufactured for mass appeal band in its origin, the Village People being almost all gay members and having songs meant to resonate with the gay community and the Cop being a straight MAGA guy who now controls the band and denies its explicitly gay roots is in the same vein.

As though the devs are peeking through the curtain saying "You know theres romance, right? Go do the subplots we wrote!" as though that wasn't painfully obvious from the start.

I believe he starts doing it late Act 1/during Act 2, its a one-off bit of dialogue if you go to talk to him at those points.

If you don't reach a sex scene or are a certain amount of progress along on a romance path (which sometimes this happens even if you are actively pursuing characters, but some, like Karlach, don't open up until later in the game) he shames you for not seeking a relationship since you might die soon.

The fact you can't do that for Karlach/Wyll despite their huge amounts of chemistry together purely because both must be available for the PC to boink is a crime.

I don't even like shipping, I'm fairly aromantic, but they are so obviously made for each other its criminal.
