Today's biggest losing #PLO hand. I like my play throughout. Didn't like the river call, but not going to make big folds for 10% pot.

PLO5 RushAndCash is going poorly. Sample size, or bad play?

On river we check and face a pot-sized bet. And again we should mostly be calling to protect our range, but this is a losing call with our specific hand.

Villain bets half pot. In game this seemed an easy call. And it is an easy call for our range, but it's the worst option for our specific hand.

Turn is 2s. This doesn't change anything, so no reason to suddenly bet. We should check 100% here.

Our hand is almost a pure split between bet small and check. Here I checked. Villain bet 70% pot and I don't think we can do anything but call. Our check/raises should come from sets, Q9/AQ for value, and T8cc/T8dd/JTcc type hands as bluffs

On the flop we have only a slight equity advantage over entire range. And only a slight nut advantage. Which leads us to bet less often, and bet small when we do.

Today's #NLHE hand. Folds to me in SB and I raise Q8o. This is a hand where all 3 options are fine.

Against a GTO SB range I have about 25.5% equity. And I need 29% based on pot odds. So I need to make another 20BB on the river (less if villain is looser, which I have reason to believe he is). I'd be going all in for 30BBs into a pot of 155BB. Most small stakes players won't find a fold.

But then villain did the one thing we didn't want them to! They raised! Through a GTO lens, we should just shove now - villain should be finding some bluffs with AKQ, AKT. But in reality I can't see villain having anything other than QTxx here, so it's a direct equity question.
December 6, 2024 at 3:43 PM
Against a check, I still can't do shit because SB's range is still QTxx heavy, and even with AAxx I should be checking 75%.
December 6, 2024 at 3:43 PM
Monker likes SB to split their betsizing between small and big. Today though, we went off route and SB checked.
December 6, 2024 at 3:43 PM
In fact, SB now has an equity advantage over the entire range. So this is a card is a massive equity flipper, and SB should now bet their entire range! Against a bet against such a QTxx heavy range, I can't do shit.
December 6, 2024 at 3:43 PM
The turn gets wild. SB should have QTxx here as played somewhere in the region of ~35%, while I only have QTxx ~17%

Today's #PLO Hand. We raise from MP with AAT3 and get called by both blinds. Flop is AJ9r. Checks to us, we bet 3/4 pot and SB calls. Super standard play so far.
December 6, 2024 at 3:43 PM
To the flop and we face a pot sized bet. This should be villain's standard bet size, and they should be doing this with nearly their entire 3betting range (88%, with 9% dedicated to half-pot bets when villain has the board locked up).

Today's #PLO Hand. We raise button and get 3bet by BB. GTO: BB should be 3b 10%. Against this range we have 46% equity and position. Easy call. NB KKQ2r should fold - it has enough equity but not nearly enough playability.

Unhinged behaviour from #SaintsFC - 0 strikers in the XI, 5 on the bench. Inc a rare Tall Paul sighting!
