Hey wouldn't it have been cool if instead of having to join a discord server for each and every community, discord's forum feature was made viewable through the public web without needing an account? That way the info can be more easily indexed and not walled off? Wouldn't that be nice.

"no low effort posts" rule gotta be a real subreddit killer. I've seen really good photoshopped images with active engagement be wiped out for being low effort. It's far too subjective to be a rule.

It pisses me off that the primary complaint I've seen about the new Horizon co-op game is that it looks like Fortnite. You're telling me every game with a stylised cartoony art style is bad because of Fortnite??? I've never played a Horizon game, but this is downright disrespectful.

Holy hell DLSS 4.5 is crazy. I set it to DLSS Ultra Performance (720p -> 4K) to test and never set it back. Totally forgot I set it to that when I opened the game next. No shimmering or ghosting that I could see and it was crisp. I won't be changing it back.

I was trying to design my own software architecture with the help of copilot for my own project and this was a bit baffling. Yes my name is based on Mizar, the star, but I didn't expect copilot to pick up on it completely unprompted to use as an analogy.

Huh, apparently all a Guild Wars 2 player needs is an X3D CPU. That downright tripled my FPS, which is far more than I can say for any computer upgrade I ever did before.

I haven't looked into this too much yet, but I hope at the very least you can VIEW YouTube videos and Reddit posts. I don't believe I posted anything when I was under 16, but these platforms were a great source of both fun and help. The whole thing feels like it's going to be a mess.

Had to get on another business trip sooner than I thought. Good thing I have my fancy new in flight entertainment device ready with… certain modifications applied. Mario Kart DS last time, Mario Kart 8 now.

Okay I promised I would go back to doing dev again but I spent the whole day troubleshooting an issue and it turns out my CPU is dying. Urgh this is gonna be a pain to sort out.

I haven’t played a CoD Black Ops game since BO2, but I’ve seen clips of the new one and it looks like you’re fighting the blight from Dragon Age now. Out here shooting at demons and stuff. I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it.
