In the end, is it all that bad if we're still applying human verification and using the PR approval processes? I'm not going to scold you about the use of AI so long as the code that you've put through the PR is of a high quality standard and works as intended.

Occasionally I need to create some boilerplate code, or I need it to translate a config file I've prototyped into a config parser. I know I can write the code myself, but in this case I can get AI to generate the same code faster than I could have, letting me move on to other tasks faster.

Sometimes there is a bug in a program that I have created, a human made bug. I'm struggling to find a solution and leverage AI to pinpoint the logistical error that I have created. I verify the outcome and deem it a success. Is it all that bad to use AI here?

To preface, I work as a professional software developer. Occasionally I will ask AI to explain how to leverage an API to do something because it's a needle of a haystack in there and the solution it generates works great! I still tweak the end result, but it gets the job faster.

Wow progress is quick! HDR and RT support will almost certainly allow Godot to be a serious big leagues contender in graphics.

Ideally any useful information would accessible through something like reddit. Unfortunately I'm in several dozen discord servers purely because I couldn't find specific information on reddit. So many communities wall off their information by using discord, even if it's unintentional.

Far from the first time a bug they've raised turned out to just be user error. In fact most of the time it's user error. This time someone decided to cull most of the file name before placing it in a bucket when the json configuration requests files to be of an exact name.

I’m at least not one of those crazy folks over at r/MechanicalKeyboards. I don’t go out buying boards that sound 3% thockier with a brass plate to put on the shelf. This ye old Keychain needs a new owner now.
