What Trump has done is ripped the mask off US imperialism and shown its true face where there are no justifications, no apologies, no restraint, and (most importantly) no more rules and allies. It's this latter part that gives liberals their out in saying "well, we never did that when in power"

I do have to agree with Trump here tbh. Just because a white guy landed a boat in the Americas 500 years ago doesn't mean they own the land.
