I agree. Like most great artists there's peaks, troughs and self-indulgence along the way.

I'm giving away this signed 1st edition h/b of my new novel (it has a tiny jacket rip which means I wouldn't sell it) to one person who reposts this.

You might like it if you like:
Folkloric creatures
Old records
Intricate psychedelic stories
The idea of circular time

All shares much-appreciated.

Very nice selection indeed. I've been flirting with Ahti, Högberg and Ghosted . The four secondhand records (not flooring)are all very good. Enjoy!

"I agree Colin, manager sacking season is upon us, it would seem so performances are now under increased scrutiny"

"Exactly Sue, they may be big and green but no-one is bigger than the bookshop"

"I wouldn't say the manager's under threat just yet given the credit he has in the bank but many more performances like this and questions will grow louder, and rightly so"

Welcome back, hope the break was restorative

This needs to be followed up by deeds, that is stop pandering to the Farage right. The dereliction of leadership this summer has been an appalling indictment of Starmer, so now do it differently

Suckered me into a purchase though...

My favourite Laswell might be the fairly recent recordings with Wadada
