(A) Microtubule organization within a plant cell is complex and ever evolving. A wealth of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs) are expressed in a cell type-specific and cell cycle-dependent manner to control microtubule kinetics. Together with the intrinsic instability of microtubules, MAP expression leads to highly dynamic microtubule arrays that are locally regulated and undergo rapid transitions, making it imperative to develop ways to capture them with high spatiotemporal resolution. (B) Super-resolution microscopy enables nanometer-scale visualization of microtubule networks, overcoming the resolution limits of conventional microscopy.

The first GreenTE workshop took place in Wageningen on October 14th-17th, 2025. The workshop was attended by 28 young researchers and lots of new collaborations started to develop. Exciting times and great science coming up!
