We need to be very clear about what is happening in LA with regard to federalization of the national guard. The national guard, when federalized, acts as an extension of the US military and therefore must follow the guidelines of the military detailed by the constitution.

If he thinks Harvard should have their tax exempt status revoked for political reasons, then with that same logic, the Catholic Church, no, any church that involves itself in any political process should also lose their tax exempt designation. I’ve been saying that for years.

Deporting US citizens to foreign countries for crimes? I'm OK if they start with the guy who is a 34x felon, has been accused of sexual battery by 26 women, incited an insurrection, committed tax fraud, took money from a children’s cancer charity, and is guilty of defamation multiple times.

Saying that you would veto a bill that puts in place guardrails on your power of tariff because it would restrain your unfettered power is just ignorant. The power belongs to congress. Read the constitution.
