Goodbye to dreadful 2025, in which my partner lost her mum and then sister 2 months later. I will lose my own mum to cancer in a few months, so my 2026 is off to a crap start.

Apparently Americans need to be reminded yet again that we have never suspended elections during a war. Lincoln was reelected during the Civil War (a large part of why we have absentee voting), FDR during WW2. It's never been true, and scaring folks with untrue things makes you not a good person.

I am more discussed and angry at this Republican administration than I am at Trump. He would be nothing without them. He would not be able to wreck our country if it were not for their actions. They were put in office to serve America and Americans not Trump. They all failed miserably
