Our uni's remedial math classes used to be 30-40 people, now they are 100+.
Some of these kids are getting into college with AP calc credits, while lacking basic algebra skills.
Math/stats department is talking about allowing graphing calcs in all classes.

you can definitely tell the difference in design between “German border guards who were just getting drunk” and the Swiss “actually we need to design a uniform these guys can live in in a bunker for 6 months, a year plus maybe”
