Does anyone else find it crazy that you can walk into a bookshop and be charged £9.99 for a paperback novel that took the author a year to complete, but £17.99 for a completely blank notebook?

My favorite Philosopher of the resistance @charlieangus104.bsky.social looked at Trump’s tariff on Irish Whiskey and summed it up perfectly- “And what kind of politician picks a fight with the Irish on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day?”

Quest for power has a new target: Wisconsin’s Supreme Court
March 2, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Heads up. Elon Musk is throwing a lot of $ at the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. His candidate, Brad Schimel is a former prosecutor who openly approves of the J6 pardons, including the guys that beat cops. Only a prosecutor in Musk’s back pocket would say such a crazy thing. Support Susan Crawford.

Great piece showing the power of collective action. I strongly recommend Charlie’s Substack. It’s a strong cup of good coffee every day.

I’m a Bills fan who knows that KC is a good team. But the racist tomahawk chop and war chant is disgusting. Mahomes and Kelce could put an end to it in 5 minutes. They don’t, which speaks volumes.

As my very first act on Bluesky, I’m reposting this long read from ProPublica. This atrocity happened in my so-called liberal county. Much is hideous, but the ignorant arrogance of the deputy using college Spanish to question a father whose child had just been killed is particularly galling.
