Seems like a good idea (but of course Rep Scalise is not telling the truth)
Scalise: "Does everybody in America want to be on Medicaid? That's what Democrats are doing."

Republicans in Congress left D.C. without lifting a finger to stop a health care crisis they created. Over 21 million Americans now face higher premiums or lost coverage—starting January 1. They chose billionaires over working families. We won’t forget.
House members leave DC for the year without a deal to extend ACA subsidies
Members of the House of Representatives are heading home for the holidays after passing a bill that does not extend expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies.

Wait, are you implying that Trump doesn’t understand how the ACA works?
I'm not sure how to say this any more simply. ACA premium tax credits are for people, not insurer. People receiving a tax credit can use it to buy any plan in the ACA marketplace. As an administrative mechanism, the government then forwards the tax credit to the chosen insurer.

The benefits created by the ACA go well beyond subsidized plans in the individual market and Medicaid expansion.

Millions of Americans would have worse health insurance – or none at all – without Obamacare's provisions. But the law's protections extend beyond insurance benefits.

What did we “learn” from the shutdown? (“” because really, we already knew): Trump administration and R caucus so against affordable health care that forcing millions of people to be hungry was seen as acceptable—and all to protect tax cuts for the wealthy.

Evergreen: there has never been and never will be a credible Trump/GOP Congress plan to repeal & replace the ACA. The only plan has always been repealing/deeply cutting the ACA coverage expansions & cutting rest of #Medicaid to help pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. That’s what HR 1 did this summer.

Does Senator Thune really not understand how the ACA tax credits work when he says that a person making $600,000 can get help, or is he just being deliberately misleading? They only get help if the 2nd lowest cost plan available to them costs more than 8.5% ($51,000)

A lot are going to drop their coverage, then we're all back to paying for their health care the most expensive way: at the ER

So get ready to pay more for your h health insurance, everyone:
