Loved the @boldpolitics.bsky.social episode with @graceblakeley.substack.com! Only comment it's so important not to equate degrowth / postgrowth with recession! DG/PG are non-capitalist economic systems which prioritise equitable wellbeing & ecological outcomes & make them independent from growth.

Claus Offe ist verstorben. In Erinnerung bleibt mir u.a. seine Begabung, den Kern komplexer Theorien und dicker Bücher in wenigen, leicht verständlichen Sätzen zusammenzufassen, seine die Welt erschließenden Vierfelder-Schemata und sein Gespür für die Paradoxien moderner Gesellschaften.
