Bearing losses is the risk for OWNERSHIP, not Labor, so if the @wnba.com and @nba.com want the players to bear those costs, they need to pony up Equity for the players.
Fighting about access to data is entirely the wrong fight. If bearing the cost of losses is the players' responsibility, then they're entitled to a cut of EVERY franchise sale and expansion fee, not just Basketball Related Income (however defined).
These are the same people as Rural Minnesotans who think Minneapolis is a constant smoldering warzone of perpetual carjackings and whose idea of an adventure is traveling to the Mall of America for Crave.
Yeah. Lots of junk. But some things are clearly functioning in a way that they're built for and, frankly, doing it well from a TECHNICAL perspective. Social and Revenue are different matters. 🤷♀️
