Everyone's posting cool #portfolioday stuff so it'd be foolish not to get onboard.

I've been sculpting miniatures for the tabletop for a few years now, largely on my own. Here are some that I'm proud of!

This is pretty much also true of trans rights, on which her full platform was she'd 'follow the law'. Are we to assume she was too dumb to see what laws were gaining traction? You can maybe understand how a lot of people were not enthusiastic about a candidate who loved to capitulate this much.

People kept asking her to stake out a position separate from Biden, who materially supported the genocide. She was given every opportunity to shape her messaging on her terms but instead refused and evaded. Which placed her, by default, supporting the genocide.

Well he was given the opportunity to hand them a shutdown much earlier in the year and instead caved, pissing all over the efforts of his colleagues and allowing things to get even worse, so I'm going to put a notch in the "not doing it well" column.

Counter argument: It's good when a candidate has principles and stands for them. Genuine commitment is electric for voters. Politics is a thing you can shape, you don't have to accept your opponents framing. They say they'll crush you, but they're very bad at doing so when you stop helping them.

I guess that with the sloppy quality of the work being revealed, pivoting to selling it mainly to chuds makes a sort of grim sense.

We know who was directing that campaign because he talked quite proudly about how KF was helping him out.

I'm interested in understanding how T&S distinguished between the KF accounts (banned) and Jesse Singal (not banned), given that the two were engaged in the same apparently TOS-safe campaign.

What was the moderation rationale behind this? The KF accounts didn't seem to violate TOS directly, they just made users uncomfortable and were visibily part of a harassment campaign organized off-site.

Do you think there is any hypothetical level of off-site organized, targeted harassment that would warrant a ban here?

I ask because around the end of last year, a bunch of Kiwifarms-themed accounts arrived and started following people. The vast majority were banned before they made a single post.

It's a real glimpse into a strange kind of mind. I said something mean about ukrainian nazis and a user slapped me into like five lists at once including 'Incels' and 'Antisemitic Scum'. Not really using the lists for categorization, I guess it just feels good to put people on them.

You've got to admit Bsky T&S doesn't seem too comfortable with how people choose to label socially unacceptable behavior.

Disappearing labels and lists, reprisals against publicizing users' likes or follows, bans for being mean to the CEO. How do you square the circle on composable moderation here?
