I gesture at Alien because the limits of exploring these things probably shouldn't be 'only do it if it's a metaphor with aliens'. Other mediums can do stories with skin-crawling amounts of sexual horror in them (hey there, Nabokov).

Hey man is someone going to have to explain to you one of the central metaphors in the iconic horror film Alien? I only ask because exploring sexual violence in art is extremely well trod ground and getting confused about finding something viscerally horrifying in the visceral horror is weird.
