Rummaging thru a kitchen drawer at work, found this menu. The address has been a Starbucks for as long as I can remember. Apparently closed in 1997.

Lol for our Christmas party I got out these little cheese label things, but apparently they haven’t been used since a 2018 Oscar party, the chalk marker has dried on, and now, despite my best magic eraser-ing, they all semi-permanently say things like “The Shape of Watermelon” and “Phantom Bread.”

In #BookSky news, Boni & Liveright published Theodore Dreiser's magnum opus a century ago today: two volumes, in a slipcase. (Wish this first edition were mine, but it belongs to Baltimore shop Royal Books.) Filmed a quarter century later as the magnificent A PLACE IN THE SUN.

My default at work is Calibri (my choice). Slightly more modern feeling than Arial. But 11-pt,ok? 14-pt is huge!
