If things were going well for them and this was an actually desirable technology, they wouldn't need to juice numbers like this.

The vitriol this particular minigame gets is fascinating when you remember how much of what people do in Pokemon is purely luck-based grinds. The stakes here are practically non-existent, and you can quit and take your winnings if you get down to 50:50s.

I've had so many people tell me "Voltorb Flip isn't luck, it's Minesweeper." For one, did you not see the part where I had a bot play my puzzle and even the bot said it was luck? For two, Minesweeper is partly a luck-based game too.
