Huh, didn't know that.

It's so rare that you ever get a game where something happens mid-game that drastically shakes up the way you play it, because everyone's so afraid to have an actual gameplay narrative, or afraid that if the player doesn't "beat the game" (another charged term) they've failed as a developer.

I think I remember now! It was probably a really crummy unfinished Tron clone I wrote in Pygame. There's no remaining evidence it ever existed, but that was my first project.

The best part is, until my new USB adapter arrives Monday, I have to use the jack in my monitor - which for some reason, is filled with light static.

I do have to say this, though: @nightdivestudios.bsky.social - while I see nothing against locking a Switch version to 30 FPS, make sure the Switch 2 is at least 60. There's really no excuse on a game with this one's PC system requirements.
