The idea of "interactivization" of historic charts is great! There should be a contest for this. Small suggestion: whenever you move on an horizontal curve (year and quantity change) or vertical (age and quantity change) that curve gets highlighted.

Interesting to see how lots of XX century american art is colorful and optimistic (this might have been said a million times).
