In the information age and moreso recently with AI, we can see religion, symbolism & myth are becoming more central in art. AI slop is being distinguished from hypersigils further and further. This is all especially true with Taylor, and especially her easteregging.

Generally the decision to make it 12 months rather than 13 is from Roman times, especially Caesar. Some say its about taxation, others about patriarchy.

Yes! The 12 signs map to the 12 astrological signs. There's 13 full moons in a year and some theorise there's also a 13th astrological sign too - the snake bearer whichhappens to be Tays sun sign
In astrology half of the signs are 'in the underworld' (libra -> Aries) while the others are above.
