I remember being incredibly impressed at him taking ownership of his behaviour -- you can even see a comment from me in the archive! -- and consequently very disappointed when I next ran into him and he was abrasive, abusive and had taken to harassing people with multiple accounts.

Ara Fell from Stegosoft is an excellent 16-bit style RPG that pays homage to classics like the Mana series, while carving its own identity.

I immediately followed it up with Rise of the Third Power which has become legitimately one of my favourite RPGs I've ever played. This game is REAL good. I was sad to learn the writer has moved on from games, but this is one hell of a legacy to leave behind. moegamer.net/2025/09/28/r...

Rise of the Third Power by Stegosoft is a narrative-centric RPG with beautiful pixel art, spectacular music and a thought-provoking story.
