**For me, “women” includes trans women, and AFAB nonbinary/genderqueer folks—and even trans men (esp. pre-transition, but for some post-transition is also inherently fraught w/this kind of violence).

*Was just talking to a writer friend yesterday who’s working on a book about trauma responses, mostly r^pe & similar. And we actually spent a chunk of our time talking about exactly that—how women** are often pitted against one another when it comes to intimate violence, and how unhelpful that is.

My eyebrows shot up so hard and fast they almost flew off.

And yet they claim repeatedly to be for farmers and for healthy eating and uuuufta they’re all full of such BS and real people suffer as a result.

They’re not wrong. 😅

Also… loved s2 e2 because… meta done well gets me every time.
