In order for a ship to be MegOp, it is not enough for them to be former friends who must become enemies - in fact, whilst it's been pretty much ubiquitous as their backstory since the 2000s, it's not even true of a lot of MegOps!

I haven't seen Earthspark yet but the impression I'm getting is that it's a Pacific Rim situation: only the first installment actually happened, and we acknowledge the rest just long enough to pick up the new characters before ignoring it again.

I'm never going to understand why people read Dream-Quest and came out of it shipping Carter/Nyarlathotep.
Like, maybe I can see it as an SCP-3999 deal, but I don't think Nyarlathotep gives enough of a shit to put that much effort in.

I'm going to have to get into TWICE now, partly because they appear on the KPDH soundtrack and sound great, but mostly because their Puppy Interview is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. They were so nice to those sleepy doggies.

Y'know, given that the Strictly results show is pre-recorded, you'd think they'd be able to pre-write their captions rather than being out of sync by live-TV-necessity and going 'oops, didn't catch that, let's have nothing for half the conversation and then thrown in a blatantly incorrect word.'

If Jinu comes back as some kind of benign spirit in a KPDH sequel, I think it would be cool to see him acting as a psychopomp of sorts. It's a good reversal of his previous role as a demon, and a shout-out to his mythic origins - this is, after all, what the Jeoseung Saja *are*.

I'd never want to take representation away from any group, but I'm really not sure why that one fan wiki and merch shirt gave Mira a Slavic(?) family name.

I get why most Dion Lives stories have him become Ironhide or Ultra Magnus or someone important, but what I want is a story where Dion lives on *as* Dion. His best friends have been given sick-ass Captain America glowups and he's just some guy with a minimum wage job and shoulder problems.
