She/her, 20s. Big fan of seals, currently languishing in Transformers brainrot.
I'm unfortunately hardwired to read 'TF' as 'Transformers' and was very much confused for a moment.

(one of those official samurai RPF installments also made them Stucky, apparently, and I'm making that observation y'all's problem.)

Cherik is probably MegOp (and hits the 'tragic duo torn apart by ideals' point). KazuMaji is, thanks to two samurai RPF AUs, also MegOp.
I don't know enough about Oz to determine whether or not Gelphie is MegOp.

The true requirements for a ship to be MegOp are -
- There must exist a Rivalry between them at some point in their timeline. They don't have to hate each other, but they must be Opponents in some way.
- There must be at least three canonical versions of them that experience the Rivalry.

Adult Haruka, married with a kid: "They found my dad's weird-ass boyfriend in Hawai'i with amnesia LARPing as Jack Sparrow."
Adult Miko, suiting up in power armour to go punch Decepticon hold-outs: "That's wild."
Both of them: 'It's so nice to talk to someone with a normal life 🙂'

John Scalzi's Redshirts and Kaiju Preservation Society are pretty good for sci-fi about ride-or-die friends, although don't hit quite the same notes as Chambers does.

It's like interpreting 'when kids start learning numeracy skills they should start with basic addition' as 'we should never teach anybody complex mathematics'. Blatantly absurd. When doing *anything* new surely it's just good sense to start at the most accessible and approachable point.

This is why I'm more of a fan of Jane Austen in *concept* than in practice. Love what she was doing, do not love reading her doing it.

Like, if I were in any way hearing-impaired this accessibility feature would not be doing much to improve my access to this programme. (Better than nothing, but still, surely they can do better.)
