I think the U.S. government being concerned about plummeting birth rates is hilarious. Sure, go ahead and promise to throw some pennies at new parents while dismantling every little thing that would actually provide working-class stability, and watch the birth rate continue to drop, idiots.

I’ve been housesitting and one of the dogs I’m watching is afraid to come down the stairs. So I’ve been trying to train him to use the stairs and now he’s to the point where he’ll rest one foot on the step below him for about a second. Progress is progress, I suppose #forcefreetraining

I can't think of a faster way to undermine the country than simultaneously firing government workers, cutting scientific research, rolling back protections on public health & environment, & cutting essential services. It's like the US was defeated in war and is being occupied by a hostile enemy.

A matter-of-fact correction is direct. If people can’t handle directness, then they should not repeat lies with such confidence.

I’m really REALLY thankful that I work in veterinary care. I go to work each day and I can be certain that the work I do is meaningful and it makes a positive difference in the lives of pets and their caretakers. This work is keeping me grounded during these scary times.
