Also, happy Spring, all. ❤️

Kiddo's stuff is mostly inherited, reused, or at least a year old. There is some new stuff, but mostly not.

Also, those eggs were all experiments with vinegar, baking soda, and oil. Pretty cool results. My girl loved making "volcano eggs" with me. ❤️

Want to know WHY industry needs to be regulated? READ. THIS. BOOK.

Radium Girls, by Kate Moore

It's an incredible, heartbreaking, and terrifying example of misogyny, corporate greed, and the power workers hold. 🧵

I've been cutting my social media time down dramatically, but I had to snap a Pic of this gear at The Trailhead today.

How cool is this? Nature should be accessible to everyone. This includes all religions, all genders, and all ability levels.

It's been a stressful day, to say the least, but kiddo got to play at a 4 playgrounds (3 where her SPD/ASD testing happened), and we got visited by a bunch of wild turkeys.

Take a minute to breathe, get out of your head, and enjoy these big birds.

I'm in the midst of post-hospitalization appointments/testing and a slew of family obligations, so my writing-work is on pause, but this was one of my favorite parts of my day. Evening walk with my kiddo and partner. ❤️

#Norovirus symptoms are back, so enjoy a goofy cat with me in consolation.

Spring in the midwest is here.

Mild, mild, mild, mild, SNOW, mild, mild, mild, mild, SNOW.

This is why we stay winter weather through May.

We Are The Proud Boys by Andy Campbell was a great read.

Next up is The Smear, by Sharyl Attkisson. I just grabbed it from a shelf at the library, so no idea about the book's history, but it looks interesting.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden has needed to speak with a medical specialist about this election for years. They also have their cherry on display.

Not my home, but I know my way around.

Sitting here, watching my kiddo run around an indoor playground, and I'm the only one masking. 🤷‍♀️

This is a slightly more conservative area, but we've all been respecting each other. I wish more people would mask up, but it is what it is.

Just wanted to highlight this great coloring book from the hospital. It features kids with all kinds of disabilities doing kid things and living in their creative worlds.

I love it.

If you want to buy a copy or donate some, you can do so at their link. They deserve the support!

This is why we #resist. We resist to preserve nature. We resist to preserve beauty. We resist so future generations can experience nature as we do.

I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels today, but at least I have a state of the art vibrating lapwarmer with me.
