Premier Rockliff said the election for the seat of Nelson in Hobart was a referendum on his proposed stadium at Mac Point. The results are in: No Stadium candidate Meg Webb has taken every booth in a resounding win.The community has spoken; time to abandon the stadium and find a way for AFL/W teams.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
