Look at this weird old magazine ad I found, has anyone heard of this?
In the distant future of 2025... A lost NES game will be excavated. XCAVATOR 2025 is an all-new, never-before-seen game from legendary programmer Chris Oberth. First developed at Incredible Technologies Inc., XCAVATOR was shopped around to multiple publishers in 1991, but never found a home. It was quietly archived and never looked at again, until it was rediscovered by the Video Game History Foundation in the late programmer’s archives. Mega Cat Studios then volunteered to finish the game, staying true to Oberth’s original vision, and iam8bit has stepped up to publish it.

Crabe De Menthe, a glowing crustacean megafauna in my Modern Carapace bestiary. Read the alt text for more info!
"Crabe De Menthe" | Very little is yet known about this gargantuan crustacean megafauna distinct from its utility to the Osst. The celia barbs covering its long claws are thought to have a similar function to deep sea crabs, catching and filtering nourishing bacteria from open vents on the ocean floor. Three large gills on its back fill with air when it surfaces, allowing it to return to the depths and hold its breath for as long as it takes to collect sustenance. ALT TEXT PROPER: A giant, glowing crab with unusually long arms, covered in celia and terminating in claws. Three legs on each side and its lower abdomen are covered in the same celia. Two glowing orange eyes and an orange maw, flanked by antennae. A shell with three large slits, fleshy gills protruding from each. Between its claws stands the Tarantula Hawk 2 in a top-down angle. Armacada Sovereign, a subterranean insectoid burrowing megafauna (sorry, does not fit the TMNT cadence. More like C.H.U.D. I guess). Tarantula Hawk 1 next to it for scale.
Against an olive green backdrop, a massive kaiju: the Armacada Sovereign. An armored insect with bone-white jagged armor around her grey head. Orange eyes, with two dangling jowls beneath. A set of spindly inner arms are dwarfed by a major set of arms with huge burrowing claws and scales like a pangolin. Matching armored legs stick out of a segmented body.
