Ds don’t need to and shouldn’t change their beliefs.

But tone, OMG, D’s ~TONE~ is annoying as fuck. Even if you totally agree.

Musk was NOT born a billionaire.

Our government made Musk a billionaire.

Musk was given billions of OUR tax dollars.
Here is just one example from 2015 👇

My nail polish these days is all dark.

But every time, I find my eyes drifting to the bright, glittery ones.

Sometimes I feel like that spark of optimism despite where we’re going is really a spark of insanity.

There’s a specific mechanism in authoritarian movements that we’re seeing play out in real-time across American media and tech. It’s a simple rule: "If we cannot co-opt it, we must destroy it."

It is the logic of "scorched earth." It's the logic of the Nero Decree and it's happening right now. 🧵

We are led to believe there are two teams: Ds and Rs, but in reality the two teams are those beholden to corporate special interests (which is like 90+% of both parties) and the ones that aren't. Following politics is like watching a Super Bowl where 90% of both teams owe a ton of money to a bookie.

Elon's little serfs are quite literally begging journalists to come back because every publicly available source of data shows people have fled the platform and young people won't use it.

They are literally begging regular people to come back. Don't do it! It is a website by and for actual Nazis!

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis stated in 1933; “We can have democracy in this country or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of the few, but we cannot have both.”

Today, at a time of unprecedented income & wealth inequality, his words ring truer than ever.

The sale came just one month after the admin announced measures to support MP Materials. The deal led MP Materials' share price to skyrocket.

I see a casket and my first thought is, well, that’s weird.

Second thought: OMG that is an amazing price for a casket!!!!

LEAVE Twitter already, folks. Get the fuck off there.
The only surefire way to stop oligarchs buying up the things we love is to drop those things the moment oligarchs buy them & that requires changing habits and massive self-discipline.
It means going to alternatives that might not be quite as good or convenient.
It’s really hard. But there it is.

Trump is going to dump tens of $ billions in payments for huge commodity farmers to compensate for huge losses they will suffer from his idiotic trade war. Meanwhile, small farmers growing for local markets will get nothing. Just canceled grants and "thoughts and prayers". wapo.st/3YXdAbU
