I haven’t been that impressed with Aldi’s off-brand offerings. A lot of their products only come in big sizes, at least here in the US. Lidl is more consistent, and more practical for smaller households.
Plus, how could I resist a discount supermarket with an in-store bakery? 50¢ croissants FTW.

Asian fishcakes or fishballs are a little different. Typically ground fish meat with a binder (rice flour) that’s then deep fried. If you have an Asian (Japanese or Korean) grocery store in your area, you can find them in the freezer aisle.
