John Oliver doesn’t get enough credit for having a show with a strong viewpoint who will oftentimes devote 20-25 minutes to a topic, sometimes one that you can’t hear about on American television anywhere else, and manage to be pretty consistently funny while doing it. It’s a hell of a balancing act

John Oliver doesn’t get enough credit for having a show with a strong viewpoint who will oftentimes devote 20-25 minutes to a topic, sometimes one that you can’t hear about on American television anywhere else, and manage to be pretty consistently funny while doing it. i know this is well trod ground, but it makes me so cranky that Google soooo proudly and forcefully returns the wrong information when using it, now. i was trying to look up a bird i saw and no matter what i searched, it kept insisting it was a goldfinch (it wasn't!!!!!!)
