Another #UI design for my #game. Trying to structure information a bit better. The #gameplay is dependent on the layout. I'm still not entirely happy so let's see...

I could add 2 bars, that represent "Safety" and "Suspicion". They work as punishment for arresting the wrong people.

For instance, if the story indicates that a mobile phone company had data leaks, I could set the suspicion bar higher, forcing the players to think about who they want to arrest.

I'm starting to get a sense of the #experience I want to create and the overall #layout and #gameplay

#Designing new #game screen layouts:

Instead of drag & drop, I let the files appear on the "Iron Archive" software. Panel left contains metadata of the file. In the middle is the content of the file. The right panel contains actions players can choose to process the file.

- drag & drop files out of a custom window
- right click to open a context, sensitive menu

Can't focus anymore. The next step is to unparent the files inside the scroll view in order to drag and drop them everywhere around the screen.

Player starts the day by checking their mail for instructions. A big part of the story will happen through the mails received or send. After that, players will have to check each file for its content inside the hard drive.

#Game Idea:

You work for an autocratic government in the IT department. Your job is to sort, secure and report suspicious files that you get at the beginning of your shift.
